Yesterday Inside the Magic announced that Guests waiting for the Disneyland Resort theme parks to reopen will now have the chance of stepping into Disney California Adventure Park. Well, now we have your first look inside the Disneyland Backlot Premiere Shop as its grand opening is today inside DCA!
The shop is located in Disney California Adventure Park’s Stage 17 and is available to all Guests visiting the Downtown Disney District!
The Disneyland Backlot Premiere Shop will be an extension to the Downtown Disney District as Guests will be able to enter Stage 17 through an entrance adjacent to the Disneyland Esplanade. Even just getting to enter a small section of the park, though it’s not the official entrance, is very exciting!

Now, we have your first look at Disney California Adventure’s newest retail shop!
Here’s the back of the stand by line, which is actually moving quite quickly.

Here’s a look of what Guests will see as they make their way through the Backlot and into the official shop.
The Disneyland Backlot Premiere Shop will carry items that you would normally find in the World of Disney store at the Downtown District. However, this shop’s current spotlight theme is Halloween! Guests will be able to find all of their Halloween essentials at this new shop.

In all, this new retail area offers a great shopping experience! It is well spaced out which is perfect for proper social distancing!

These curated products will only be featured for a limited time, so check back here often to discover what’s new.

Also, it is important keep in mind that Guests will need to join a virtual queue similar to the ones for World of Disney and other Downtown District retail areas.
