It has become commonplace in this day of electronics to receive many things via email, but receiving notice of termination is not only gutting but in poor taste! The least Disney could have done was to gather everyone and tell them in person! Callousness isn’t one of Disney’s operating tenets as I seem to recall! My heart truly breaks for all of the talented performers affected by this announcement and I certainly hope Disney will be able to right their sinking ship soon – otherwise, the Guests are going to all be deserting the Parks, Cruise Line, Stores , etc. in droves due to a lack of confidence in this once-reliable Company. If it was all started by a Mouse, it may all end due to a Virus.
“Ended by a virus” is the reason for the email. Email and phone communication is what every business has done to let employees know what was going on and the status of their employment. My heart breaks for these super talented cast members and hope to see you all real soon.
