    I, for one, cannot wait for the bad “ESPN is doomed/Disney should spin-off ESPN” takes coming from hedge fund managers and investors, while ESPN continues to maintain steady cash flow and revenue.

    And don’t think the layoffs are an ESPN thing. Fox Sports, NBC Sports and CBS Sports have all been making cutbacks. Don’t be surprised if Pac 12 networks and NFL Network are next.

    Contra to the hedge funds and CNBC talking heads, ESPN isn’t doomed. They’re just changing with the rest of the sports media world.

    They are laying people off because people have stopped watching espn. There are plenty of sports to watch. However people tune in to hear sports, not left wing talking points. Their commentators are way off line with their continuing push of the false social justice natrative and their support for the radical, marxist totalitarians marching and rioting in our streets.     All that anti -whiteness on espn is the cause. Can’t deny or dance around it. Outkick is taking on all the former espn viewers. Absolutely no doubt about it. Complete non sense to blame the pandemic at all. If anything the pandemic would add MORE viewers, not less.
