The upcoming holiday season is fast approaching, and plenty of Disney fans are already starting to celebrate in their own ways. 2020 has been a rollercoaster, so we’re welcoming any holiday traditions or decorations that make you feel good! 11″ Ariel Doll – 2020 Holiday Special Edition
shopDisney debuted a new offering today, with no need for MerchPass. The Holiday Ariel is available now! The brand new Holiday series kicks off with a Disney Holiday Ariel, with new dolls in the coming years. Barbie has been presenting Holiday Barbie since 1988, with a Hallmark Christmas ornament duplicating the dolls beginning in 1993. It’s about time that Disney hopped onto this collectible train, and we’re so excited. shopDisney’s copy on the 2020 doll reads,
“The Disney store proudly presents our 2020 Holiday Special Edition Ariel doll. Richly costumed in a satin and velvet gown with faux fur trim and lace details, Ariel features beautifully styled, rooted hair, with a bow accent. It’s a holiday wish come true!”
The 11″ doll is comparable to most posable toy dolls, so you could even play with her in the giant KidKraft castle! Her holiday style continues all the way around with a large velvet bow in her iconic red hair (specially styled for this holiday look), a satin underskirt with allover print, and gold trim.
You’ll also find molded shoes on her human legs, and a gold glitter print on Ariel’s skirt and top velvet jacket. You can almost imagine her experiencing her first snow at the castle with Prince Eric!
The 2020 Disney Holiday Ariel comes in a beautiful box, with an elegant window display and rose gold foil filigree. She has a display stand that comes with her, so you can display the snowflake styled Little Mermaid doll at any point during the year.
