This report by the OC Business Journal is a bit curious. They use the word “tourism”, yet how do they know it’s tourist rather than business-related travel?
I guess anyone flying in can be considered a tourist because they are spending money locally, but to me a “tourist” is someone travel for pleasure – A vacation, not business.
One time I had to go through LAX for an LA convention and made an Anaheim Disneyland stopover first, and a second time, went through John Wayne for a purely Disneyland vacation.
For those coming in from Away, I can vouch that Anaheim is a LOT easier to get to from the normally overlooked John Wayne.
