Me & my family were at Hollywood Studios yesterday (Fri Sept 4). We waited 55 min for Mickey&Minnie’s Runaway Railway. That was the longest time for any ride. Park felt at about 40% capacity. H.S. is less spread out, so there is less room to social distance. There were no cleaning the rides after each person but there were hand sanitizers set up before/after rides. I felt safe being there as we all wore masks and people were promptly told to re-mask if they weren’t actively eating or drinking if not in a relaxation area. I hope Disney keeps the reservations system so it keeps crowds at a manageable level. Even tho they can go to 100% capacity it doesn’t mean they should. Social distancing would be impossible to maintain at 100% capacity. Overall it was a great day, rain pushed alot of people out so that made most of the wait times shorter toward the end of the day. There was no flooding during the storm, but restaurants wouldnt allow you to come inside or stay under their overhang areas unless you bought something which I think is terrible. There was alot of dangerous lightning and they should hv thought about the safety of its guests rather than focus on just the money during that 30 min period of time. Maybe people wld hv bought if they werent pressured into it. My family stayed under a metal awning in front of a store that was closed. Not very safe but there wasn’t much of a choice for covered areas. They should put a dome roof over the area by the Muppet 3D ride. Alot of quick serve food places were closed, that was disappointing as it was extremely hot out & wld hv liked to Not hv had to walk a distance to find an ice cream stand. I advise to add the Disney experience app to phn b4 u go, it will tell u what restaurants are open but not the food kiosks. *Quick hint for getting into Rise of Resistance que, hv everyone sign into same account on phn and at 10am or 2pm, all people shld try & join at once. Will hv better shot at it. We weren’t quick enough for the 10am que, but made got accepted at the 2pm time as backup group 84. We got on about 5pm. When the groups called are near your number, stay close to ride, u hv 2 hours to get to ride, but I think if your close by it’s better so they can’t deny you if they reach capacity. Hv fun!
Don’t be a Karen (liberal Democrat) going around and identifying all the things fearful people who live inside bubbles and wear masks care about. Just go to the park and have fun.
