I feel they are trying their best and have a smart idea now letting character just come out and be there yes you can not get up and close w them but just seeing em brings joy! And you can still get pictures w them alot of times though behind a fence or on a car they still stop chat and have fun…. we saw joy at epcot she was chasing a bunny, playing in the rain, and was coming to the fence for photos or hiding behind the tree we got some great shots! And we saw the frozen queens on their carriage they chatted and posed for photo. Yes its not the m&g you want or expect but right now its a great way to stay safe and see em! You know ent folks are people too and its for their safety too!

  2. Hershey Park in Pennsylvania had their characters behind a velvet rope, and the parents would take pictures of their children with the character behind them. I think Universal is already doing that. I saw a picture of Sponge Bob’s Squidward behind a barrier for pictures. At Disney Parks, if you have a Disney Visa, you have an option of getting a free downloaded picture with a character that is put in digitally later (so they are not really there). They could do what other parks are doing safely.

I like the 6 feet apart idea they are doing at Tokyo. Then you could probably talk to them a bit as well as take a socially distanced selfie .
