exactly lydia and its sad how many people complain about AP but when you make financial sense of it how much your saving!!!! yes $700+ is an expense not saying it isnt but lets look at big picture… its $100-150 to get in to a park so $400+ in total per day… you just paid that off in a few park trips you got a yr ahead of you… Now its up to $40+ to park per day… FREE to ap! AND memory maker aka free download of photos is $100 per person FREE on all ap bands! Not to mention if your plus thats $65 your saving per water park visit! Thats alot in savings in the end plus discounts on stuff it pays for sure!
I’m a platinum plus out of state passholder. It’s been challenging trying to plan trips longer than 3 days and being forced to book a property stay in order to guarantee I’ll get in to the parks. Plus, I usually only spend about 3 hours or so at places like Hollywood Studios in a day, which makes it super challenging to burn a day there without the park hopper option. My time to renew has been extended into next April so we shall see, but right now it’s not worth the cost.
In my opinion Disney has done the minimum to compensate their ap holders. Not up to or with other entertainment providers. They think we’ll just “take it”. Not me.
I canceled my platinum plus pass. It’s not worth it personally because all of the extras are closed. Plus the added restrictions make it practically useless to me.

It is sad but since Disney made the decision to not grant new annual passes ,even though I was willing to get one, I just got a Universal annual pass.
Sandy
Has anyone who cancelled their passes received their refund yet?
