Absolutely wish they would be open later! We are going in a few weeks and made a dinner reservation for 655 at magic kingdom just so we can walk out of the park after sunset and have a taste of the parks at night. Disappointing that they cut the hours off of the evening.
I so wish thru would stay open at least like the reopening hrs. We are going the first of October and it’s my Granddaughter’s first visit. There’s nothing like the lights at night…
With guests not always obeying mask rules during the day, there would be no way to enforce at night. Some guests can’t even follow the no smoking rules. They feel that they are entitled since they paid admission to do what they want and not have to follow rules.
A vast majority of us do follow rules but it’s the bad apples that ruin it for the rest of us. At Animal Kingdom yesterday, there was a couple in front of me vaping on Everest and I saw a dad get mad at a cast member who asked the family of four to put their masks on and dad said they didn’t need to since son was eating in line, even though the other three weren’t.
Maybe we need to improve to earn Disney’s trust to think about changing hours. Kind of like parents allowing kids to do things if they follow rules.

First, gotta love when we get a report based on a random Reddit user.
I hope this encourages ITM to start quoting us from Comments section. Our “facts” and “opinions” are at least as good as Reddit’s!
Second, if anything they should open later and close earlier.
