Oh! The humanity!
Yea, horrible, ain’t it??
We were here today. Hollywood studios was open at 10. Not 10:20. We were let in just after 9:30. ROTR wasn’t working. We only had problems with the app for about 10 minutes.
I was there. Everything went fine. Technical difficulties with the ride. Kylo was having trouble so it went to B mode. Boarding passes were distributed at 12pm instead of 10. The app did not have problems for long. It was still a fun day. If you are lucky enough to be at Disney, you are lucky. Just enjoy and go with the flow.
The worst thing that can happen to you in a pandemic has nothing to do with a Disney ride being temporarily closed. Is this what we have come to with our ability to cope with challenges?
The pandemic has to stop being an excuse for every little thing that happens. We should be well beyond the blame game at this point. Yes, for those who quite possibly spent a ton of money on a vacation, a challenge such as this is a big deal at the time, just like being stuck in traffic due to an accident which causes people to be late for wherever it is they’re going is also a big deal to them at the time.
Oh no! I can’t go on with my life! Disney opened late! How am I going to make it through the day! Gee, get a life!
**it happens, whatta ya’ gonna do?
I mean, it is disappointing for those who wanted to ride, but rides go down. It happens. RoR was down for half the day when we went the weekend before last. We missed the first round of boarding passes, and they didn’t add more at the second round, because they were only just boarding the first groups. Yes, it was disappointing, but we didn’t let it ruin our day. Stuff is always going to happen unexpectedly. Have to learn to roll with the punches, especially on vacation!
