Fantastic photos! We stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter the last time we were there in July 2014 and loved it! We liked it was small, had a great pool for the kids and very good food at the food court (yes, the beignets were wonderful!) It was also (at the time) the first stop for some of the resort buses before the headed over to Riverside so there was always room (those poor folks often faced full buses with no room). It was also nice to hope on to the boast and take the river down to Disney Springs in the evening. My only wish was that they offered family suites there, as the rooms are small.
Prior to that in 2005 we stayed at Old Key West in one of the larger DVC rooms (no we are not members). Nice resort but our room was pretty far from the main pool, Olivia’s and WDW buses so we usually took the in-resort shuttles to the main area, that meant it could take up to an hour to get from our room to one of the parks depending on how it was timed out.
