Disney foodies, you can get your hands on those Disneyland Sweet Treats once again! Marceline’s Confectionery at Downtown Disney reopened today and it’s giving us a little taste of being back at the Disneyland Parks once again. Since the Disneyland theme parks have delayed their reopening, Disney fans have been missing those Disney Parks goodies like Caramel Apples and Rice Krispy Treats, but fret not! We had an Inside the Magic Reporter there today to show you all the delicious flavors that will satisfy your sweet tooth when you visit Downtown Disney.
Social Distancing Sweets
Even though we can’t wait to try all the fresh goodies, we still have to follow social distancing protocols. Downtown Disney has put in place many health and safety precautions to ensure the wellbeing of all the Guests visiting. At least this queue outside allows you a view through the window into watching the Disneyland sweet treat magic happen.
Many think you can only find food at Marceline’s Confectionary, but that’s not true. There are a ton of adorable home goods that you can find there as well, such as, mugs, aprons, and cooking utensils. Stop by to fill your Disney kitchen with all the magical ingredients. You can now also purchase Disney face masks here too!
There’s no better combination of aromas than the smell of coffee and desserts. Well, Marceline’s Confectionery also has a wall stocked with Mickey’s Coffee for your favorite blend for pairing. For treats that will last you longer (because you know those fresh treats won’t even make it back to the car or hotel room,) there’s a variety of pre-packaged items that are handmade with magic like toffee, shortbread cookies, and etc. It’s also candy galore throughout the store if you’re looking for sweets more in that category.
Now, a look at what you’ve all been waiting for, the Marceline’s Confectionary display of freshly made treats! The display case of treats will have your mouth watering and totally unsure of which treat to pick. By all means, you can have them all, but that might be one serious sugar crash later. Maybe you can buy them all and share with your friends and family.
