This is terrible news we just had to cancel our Halloween trip and may have to cancel our Christmas now.. I can’t believe Disney is doing this it should be open and business as usual. With no mask regular hours what is Disney with out meet and greets fireworks parades and characters dining? Nothing! I just made reservations at Universal who is still having Halloween. I hope Disney sees how this is wrong and gets back to normal .
I have had it. All my Disney plans canceled, but NBA is taking over all the resorts. What is it, Disney? … safety or money? Obviously we see the answer. Meanwhile Universal has canceled nothing. Are they irresponsible or is Disney just a mess? Let me guess, hockey and football at Disney too … so Christmas is canceled there too? This is extremely disappointing … Universal gets my $ this year.
Well, Disney is all about looking PC and socially conscious in a way that Universal is not. Somehow, COVID shutdowns became associated with being PC and taking the moral high ground. . It’s all optics.
This is great news for my family! We had to cancel our trip due to Covid-19 stuff and now we won’t lose all of this money as those tickets were nonrefundable.

If you read the announcement, it states that the tickets will be refunded. I am sad about this cancellation. I do not know what to do. I have been working an extra job to pay for a huge Disney trip during Halloween. I guess I will discuss this with my family and see how to proceed. Ugh, I was afraid this would happen.
The question i ask myself when spending on air travel,condo rental,tickets, high price average food, car rental and crazy priced merchandise is why go to DISNEY instead a 1.5 hour drive to Hershey park or a 3.5 hour drive to Kings Dominion or even a 4 hour drive to Busch Gardens Williamsburg, and the answer is the Disney Magic and the outstanding cast members that Disney has that the others do not, but take a way the character photos and meetings,the parades,the fireworks and all the shows and not seeing the smiles from CM’S because masks are required and it now becomes the same as the above mentioned parks,sorry Disney our family will wait till the MAGIC returns hopefully sooner than later.

Guess everyone is hiding in their bunkers afraid of the covid….. (being a nurse who is on the front line of this crap, I can say…..well….it would be nice if “we’re all in this together” really meant that…..I feel like Nah….I”m in this…wtf are the rest of you doing…? I know…totally not the PC thing you want to see…butt….well, tired of trying not to offend anyone…..it has become way too easy in this society to offend folks..”
