Universal Orlando is gearing up to reopen to the general public later this week, with Annual Passholder previews beginning tomorrow. The theme park is the first of the Central Florida flagship theme parks to reopen its doors and locals are excited to get back to the fun!

Upon announcing the reopening, Universal has also been sharing information about their updated health and safety enhancements to the resort experience to prepare visitors. They recently just updated their website with a new video that has all those details and more so guests can be ready and prepared for their visit.

The video highlights guests wearing masks and team members cleaning high-touch surfaces like the moving sidewalk railings.

Other highlights include the mandatory health screenings guests will have to go through prior to entering the theme parks. Guests with a temperature reading of 100.4ºF (38ºC) or higher will not be allowed entry to the theme parks. Face masks will be enforced. Universal is offering some for sale at their premises if guests happen to need one when they arrive.

Facemasks are not mandatory at resort hotel pools and are only recommended at Volcano Bay.

The video also highlights how extensively the resort has been working enhancing their sanitation procedures to keep guests and team members safe.  Signage has been added throughout the theme parks and resort to encourage social distancing and frequent handwashing.

Additional health and safety warnings are detailed and shared throughout the video, ensuring guests planning a visit are well prepared and aware of the potential health risks involved in visiting.
