Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort have recently extended the expiration dates for many of their tickets. But many Inside the Magic readers have been wondering, what about Military Tickets? Here is everything we know about Military Tickets for Disney World and Disneyland, including what to do if your tickets expire before you are able to use them.
We spoke with a Disneyland Resort representative with the Walt Disney Travel Company, and they were able to clarify some information and questions regarding Military Tickets. The representative said that at this time, Disney has not extended the expiration date of Military Tickets for the Disneyland Resort theme parks, and the Military Salute Ticket Offer tickets will still expire on December 18, 2020. The representative also said that currently, there is no word on whether or not the expiration dates for Military Tickets will be extended.
If your Military Tickets expire, you can take them to the ticket booths at Disneyland Resort (located in the esplanade in between Disneyland park and Disney California Adventure park) and apply the value of the tickets to any new tickets. Just pay the price difference if there is an increase in price. This policy applies to any expired Disney Parks tickets — not only Military Tickets.
The same policy applies to Military Tickets for Walt Disney World Resort. Currently, Disney World Military Tickets for 2020 are set to expire on December 18, 2020, and there is no word on whether Disney will extend the use of those yet, just like at Disneyland. However, Disney World Guests can take any unused, expired Military Tickets to a theme park ticket booth in person and apply the value of those tickets to new tickets. All the Guests will have to do is pay the difference in price, if applicable.
We will continue to update Inside the Magic with more information on Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort as we receive it.
