We just made a reservation for july just have a staycation and the dvc gal even said where did you hear that?? We’ve been told oct the earliest maybe next yr! I know others might be less optimistic wo the parks but we see it as its something though still not getting too excited bc things in this catch 22 world could easily be taken from us esp if they constantly crowd our beaches etc and not do things w patience desantis will pull a redo! And i bet that goes for wdw too or any theme park he will be watching em like crazy.

Its only going to happen that way sadly locals and aps are always guinea pigs besides your can limit locals we can always come back you can not limit guests esp those of whom might have wait lifetime for this to only have limited capacity and so rides or parks closed… thats not happening its locals or nothing besides desantis isnt happy w the way people too advantage of the beaches and level 1 to get to level 2 will take prayers and patience! I can tell you upper management i know is still saying oct for parks but if sooner be forward it will be a slow and steady climb.

I was turned around twice w beach incidents we need to really watch desantis is ready to pull and disney will not reopen if we go backwards!

If it is all us cms whom have been told oct are monkeys uncles! Some even think Jan. They are opening slowly you know how much between wdw and dl you have!? I am a cm and besides ready to protest the mask thung esp w fl whom are going to be in its own heat hazard soon which will not mix w masks theres other things i can not say! On top of that i am with my family while many are safe and happy we will go back when we do…. you do not get many of us whom are parents and cms esp full time barely see our families and we have been enjoying this! And some of us bc of restrictions have no one to leave or kids w when they would normally be in school while we worked. Its all going to work out but in time not bc you as a guest wants it to happen!

No one in thier right mind unless in the category for over 65 will wear a mask in our fl summer temps thats its own medical hazard waiting to happen! I can feel passed out on a line during the summer wo a mask now add that! Forget cms when i use to work attractions most cms have to do stroller parking or outdoor positions that would just be unfair to them… rumor has it they are protesting for this very reason! I was there prior to all this and it was if nothing was happening we just used more hand sanitizer! Also right now govenor is upset about the beaches going over could you imagine theme parks!!! We never be let in again

It will go by how well springs and the water parks do as well as minor hotel opening then dak/epcot followed by mk please remember mk will not be as open and many major attractions due to line structure. Studios will be last as of right now bc it can not hold the capacity being asked! With that being said we are hoping for the best here as i am sure you are but please also have patience as this could all change as disney is following the governors orders!

I am so tired of Disney’s games with pushing back reservation dates. We were supposed to go in April and now in June. I just booked an extra two day stay last week for the third week of June and the system let me. This is an emotional roller coaster. All the work it takes to wait on hold to speak with a rep, book the reservation, make the dining reservation, wake up early to get fast passes only to be reading articles that my 2nd trip may get cancelled. What was the purpose of the free dining then if it can’t be used. Please don’t comment on my post if all you are going to say is that “it’s safer if Disney doesn’t reopen and we are in the middle of a pandemic”. I realize this and I, like many other people, am over this and am ready to get out into that world and start living again!!! Disney, please stop jerking us around and give us something that we can use to help us plan our trips without disappointment. This booking experience X 2 has not been magical at all.

We are at level 1 only in fl and cali! We can not have a large group gatherings wo getting in trouble. Governors are on both ends are upset and might pull us back! I had cancer i have wc bound parents i been saying stop to all this too but theres only so much that disney could do they are not going to follow rules nor just open bc you think you deserve it! I am sorry but as others have mention here disney has levels on top of state levels enough complaining and learn patience!

Its the new normal your not going to make everyone happy right but you can not be stupid either! Thats what we say here in nyc!

  8. Its fun to be free

why is disney opening at all just to close if another round of this covid bs is on the way or worse hurricane season which they say is going to be bad… and theres already proof as a storm is in the atlantic right now saying 70% of development and hitting fl! And its not even June i rather stay in lockdown! They are just going to close anyway w a bad storm or two! DO the numbers a few days open when it safe w the doors wide open even next few months still down the line to be safe then sorry will make all this loss look like nothing forget by 50th!
