Although Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California is currently closed temporarily, the work never ends for the essential Cast Members at the Circle D Ranch, home to Disneyland’s horses.
Recently, we’ve received two updates on the horses during the theme park closure and we’re thrilled to see that they’re doing well!
Our four-legged Cast Members are having a great time at the Circle D Ranch in Norco, CA! But as one of our Cast Members put it – “Life on the ranch is good. But all of us — horses included — are looking forward to being back on Main Street, U.S.A., soon!” #DisneyCastLife pic.twitter.com/LUPhOwnL0E

Yesterday, April 30, the Disneyland AP Twitter account shared four photos from Circle D Ranch, including a photo of the ranch’s cute “Home of the Happiest Horses on Earth” sign.
From the rest of the images, the Disneyland horses certainly appear to be enjoying their unexpected break from work. Check out that big smile in the top right image!
Disneyland President Rebecca Campbell also shared a Circle D Ranch update on her official Instagram account. Campbell said, “Yesterday I paid a visit to Circle D Ranch to thank our amazing Cast Members…and to see how the horses are adjusting to working from home. Honestly…I didn’t want to leave.”
One of Campbell’s images showcased a Cast Member riding one of the Disneyland horses while wearing a face mask. This is a possible indicator of some of the changes we can expect to see when Disney Parks around the world reopen their gates.
Does this Circle D Ranch update make you even more excited for Disneyland Resort to reopen? We can’t wait to see the horse-drawn carriages and take a carriage ride on Main Street, U.S.A. again soon!
