This is confusing!!! Do you rip the soft part out of the middle of the bread to make a dip in the flat, soft part of the bread, like a bowl? Then how do you keep the banana from falling out?
If that video is correct, this should be worded:
Place a slice of bread flat on the counter and cut horizontally into the top of the bread to make a pocket big enough to hold a piece of banana. If necessary, tear out a little of the bread inside the pocket to make room. (the video uses two)
Also–if the video is correct, you MUST turn it over halfway through, even in a deep fat fryer, because it will float.
