Can someone answer me regarding water parks or pools will we be expected to swim w masks bc then i will just stay home at my local pool were i can swim …. i want to know bc i love bb and miss it but it seems extreme to expect people to swim a mask on theres such a thing as drowning!!!! I can understand walking around or on a pool deck but in water seems extreme but knowing disney wants babies to wear masks they have done stupid things before!
You would hope like you said on pool decks but not in the water! Water parks will be complicated for sure…. once lifeguards are in i am sure there will be more info! Sorry its all i know!
Hi Janie! Disney has stated that guests do not have to wear masks while swimming at a pool or water park. However, guests will have to wear masks when they are out of the water.
Regarding wearing masks IN a swimming pool, I read something on another blog recently about pools and water activities over at Universal. From what I read, masks are specifically NOT allowed while in the water. They are deemed to be dangerous in the water (that makes sense). I would think Disney would have a similar policy.
