Disney pastries are some of my absolute favorites, especially the really creamy ones covered in fruit. But since Main Street U.S.A. is out of action, we’re going to have to get creative at home with another DIY Disney recipe!
Thankfully, the good folks at Disney Family have us covered, with this delicious dessert pizza recipe. I think this is the perfect pizza for parties on hot summer days, accompanied by a glass of cold milk. If you’re feeling extra bold, you can even eat this pizza cookie for breakfast!
Just be sure you know what you’re getting into; there’s no pepperoni or mozzarella cheese toppings on this pizza!
Once you’ve finished baking, why not try out some of the other delicious dessert recipes that we’ve covered, including our Mickey rice crispy treats, s’mores, or this adorable Jack-Jack cookie num num.
With that said, let’s get into the recipe!
Mickey Shaped Dessert Pizza
Recipe Source: Disney Family
- Sugar cookie dough (or store-bought dough)
- 1 cup of cream cheese frosting
- Fruit (strawberries, blueberries, kiwi, and raspberries, grapes, or anything else)
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Roll out sugar cookie dough on a floured surface to 1/4″-1/2″ thickness.
Use a knife or toothpick to lightly draw a Mickey shape in the dough.
Cut out the Mickey shape with a knife and place on a lined baking pan.
Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the edges are slightly golden. Let cool.
Slice the strawberries and kiwis (or other fruit chosen for your pizza).
Once the cookie is cool, spread cream cheese frosting over the surface of the pizza.
Arrange the fruits on top of the frosting. Starting in the middle, make a pattern with the fruits until the entire cookie is covered. Enjoy your pizza!
