I AM… BREAD! No, wait, I AM GROOT BREAD! There we go. Create your own at-home version of this MARVEL-ous snack from Disney California Adventure. When wandering into the Park, you can almost smell the jalapeno cheese encrusted hair of Baby Groot wafting from the Cosmic Canteen area. If you were seeing a plain version, like the one featured below, you can find that at Boudin Bakery. Now, if you’re safe at home from Thanos’ evil clutches, you can bake this up in your own oven.
Make Your Own Groot Bread
Right from the Family Youtube Channel, find instructions for making your own . Inspired by Guardians of the at , this B is mixture of , , and .
Grab some sourdough dough from the local grocery or mix up some of your own and get to work decorating. Below in the video is how the talented Chefs at Disney California Adventure Park at Disneyland Resort make the bread.
Roll the dough flat and then use a pizza cutter to detail Groot. Cut out his hair, score his bark, and then use cake decorator tips to line his eyes and pupils. Once again, the pizza cutter comes in handy to draw a knowing smile. Black olives create his dark eyes that nearly say, “I am Groot.” Which we’re sure is Disneyland tree-speak for something delicious.
When you’re done baking, you can pose with your tasty shaped bread and maybe take a virtual tour on Youtube of the Mission Breakout ride. Just don’t forget that killer music… it’s one of the best parts of the attraction. Jam out with adorable Groot!
