It seems the cancellations and extensions of suspensions are commonplace right now. Disney Cruise Line just announced they are having to extend their sailings for their Disney Magic European Sailings through June 7th.

With the wellbeing of its guests and team members as its top priority and in line with direction from health experts and government officials, Disney Cruise Line has decided to extend the suspension of Disney Magic departures through Sunday, June 7, 2020.

Affected passengers are able to receive a cruise credit of 125% on a future sailing that must be used within 15-months of the original sail date. Guests can also opt for a full refund. See the statement below:

In light of this cancellation, Disney Cruise Line is offering the choice of a 125% future cruise credit to be used for a future sailing within 15 months of their original sail date, or a full refund. The credit has been automatically added to the guests’ accounts.

An additional disclaimer for the credit and refund was noted by the Disney Cruise Blog. See below for more details:

*The future cruise credit is equal to 125% of the original voyage fare and is only valid for sailings departing within 15 months of the original sailing. The original reservation must be paid in full to be eligible for the future cruise credit. The future cruise credit is applied per person and is non-transferable, non-refundable and has no cash value. Standard prevailing rates apply and guests are responsible for any balance due after the future cruise credit has been applied. If you end up not being able to use the future cruise credit, it will be eligible for a refund up to the amount of the original voyage fare. Standard cancellation policies and terms and conditions apply to future sailings. Guests who previously received a future cruise credit are not eligible for an additional future cruise credit.
