Pin traders, start your engines! With the advent of shopDisney’s new Disney Parks Trading Pin category, we’re all a flutter shopping for Parks exclusives from the comfort of our couch. While Disney didn’t advertise the initial set of Parks-only pins on the first Thursday release (4/9/2020), they have recently changed their tune and started to advertise the next week’s trading pins. Small advertisements have been found on the Parks pin page between listings, and we’re loving these previews of Earth Day 2020 and Pixar Special Releases!
April Limited Edition Disney Parks Trading Pin Releases
Check out the Limited Edition Parks Earth Day Pins available starting on April 22, 2020. This is actually Earth Day for the year, so just as if you were in the Parks on that day, you can celebrate from home by picking up this pin. This editor wishes they would offer it early and possibly SHIP IT on this day so you could have it sooner, but I also understand the sell-by school of thought.
The Earth Day pin shows Flick hitching a ride on a dandelion seed tuft, toting leaf-style camping equipment as he floats around the Earth. The globe’s waters are swirled blue enamel, adding a touch of texture to this Disney Parks Trading Pin.
Next up for Pixar fans, an adorable mixed film release pin starring Toy Story, Monsters Inc and Coco characters, all in one feature. There’s also a “Boo” from Monsters Inc pin in a chalk-drawing-style and a larger book-style pin with a Jack Hack’s cookies and milk cereal advertisement. Prices are not yet listed for these specific items, but you will be able to find all the information on the Parks Pin page of shopDisney.com starting this Thursday, April 16th, 2020.
Lastly, but certainly not least, classic Disney animation characters grace a final set of pins being released as a part of the Pin Trading online event. Robin Hood, a Dapper styled Minnie, and Daisy, as well as a “Stitch” purse option is looking quite cute to add to our collections. From these three collections, I could really see us picking up one or two as we continue our virtual Parks visits!
