posting this kind of article shows how little you truly grasp about how cast members are feeling right now .. They all know it’s a possibility , but when they see blogs of people who supposedly love all things disney post things like this it shows you only truly care about your own experience

Thank you, Teresa. As a current cast member, I’m well aware of the possibility of a furlough, but that’s something that my union has to discuss with the company, and not be posted on a blog.
Not everything regarding cast member information needs to be put out on the Internet, because frankly, some of it is NOT for general public consumption, such as our pay situation.
We’ve been through a LOT of uncertainty in the last two weeks, and for the blogs to continue on things we either see on our company resources, or from our unions, it just adds to the stress and anxiety of us.
I really wish these bloggers would stop being so selfish, and like you said, they only truly care about THEIR experience, and put themselves in OUR situation, or mindset, for just a day.
This isn’t fun, for ANY of us, especially those who LOVE working at the parks, and bringing the magic, to EVERY guest, young and young, every single shift!

I am sorry teresa but no one is worried they are in constant contact w their managers whom are helping them and they will be paid the furlough folks are theme parks that do not care and do not have money separated to pay employees in case of emergencies…. i wouldnt doubt its the reason APs are still paying bc thats how money is managed from them too! Itm nor you understand big business they need to trust there managers etc and you along w itm keep mouth shut!

Disney owes it to their loyal cast members to pay them thru May or however long it takes to open back up they have had years of high profits and made tons of money.its time to give back. We will make it thru this rough time and people will again flood the parks.
