Disney’s Animal Kingdom is “pintroducing” a brand new fun family pin trading event so Disney guests can start the new year off on the right foot.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Pin Trading Event
Disney guests will be able to visit locations all throughout Disney’s Animal Kingdom as the park will display over 90 pins located throughout the lands of Africa, Asia, DinoLand U.S.A., and Discovery Island.
The pin displays will include a variety of pins ranging from Hidden Mickey pins and Disney theme park pins from all around the world. The new pin trading event will take place during the following times:
- 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.
- 2:45 – 3:45 p.m.
- 5:45 – 6:45 p.m.
- 7:30 – 8:30 p.m.
This new Disney’s Animal Kingdom pin trading event is very special, especially for those hard-core Disney pin traders out there! Because this event is so unique and special, you will only have one minute to trade two (2) Disney pins off of the pin trading boards.
This special pin trading event will be happening on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 only so be sure to plan accordingly if you want to get in on the pin trading fun.
Here are the official rules for this special pin trading event:
Guests will have one (1) minute to trade two (2) Disney pins off the designated trading boards. Please point to the pin(s) you wish to trade for and the cast member will pull off the board and hand to you. All trades are final after pulled from the boards.
A limited number of wristbands will be available for the day and will be given out on a first-come-first-served basis. Valid Walt Disney World Resort theme park ticket is required. Queue for guests with wristbands will start 15 minutes prior to the posted return time at Discovery Trading Company. Guests will be assembled in sequential order. Wristband return must be completed between 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. on date of issue, 12/31/19. Lost, stolen, or damaged wristbands will not be replaced. Wristbands have no cash value. Restrictions apply. Merchandise available while supplies last. Subject to change without notice.
2020 Commemorative Pin
But that’s not all because there will also be a special 2020 commemorative pin! This limited edition New Year’s Day Pin will be available for purchase at 7:00 pm and only 1,000 pins have been produced, making this pin extremely unique.
If you want to purchase this pin, be sure to visit Discovery Trading Company beginning at 7:00 am so you can receive a numbered wristband. This wristband will allow you the opportunity to purchase up to two (2) pins beginning at 7:00 pm also at Discovery Trading Company.
