Thomas Kinkade Studios Star Wars Collection: The Duel

As you know this summer at Comic-Con Thomas Kinkade Studios released the first 3 paintings in this series and we had an opportunity to give one of our readers the Battle of Hoth painting which was won by Ashley O. We had such a great response to that giveaway and now with this new giveaway occurring less than a month before the cumulation of the Skywalker Saga hits the theatres I wouldn’t be surprised if the response is even larger.

To improve your odds we have some opportunities you will want to take advantage of. For bonus entries, the first thing you will want to do is share your Lucky URL with friends and family. The more people you encourage to sign up the better your odds are of winning. Next, browse through our past Thomas Kinkade Studios sweepstakes posts and learn more about all of the other excellent paintings we’ve profiled in various giveaways. You can come back daily refreshing your memory of these paintings and picking up additional bonus entries in the process.

Hint: Be sure to use an email address you actually check as the winner will be notified by email plus we will update this article with the winners name. But be quick to respond, if we don’t hear back from you we will have to draw a new winner.

The story behind the artwork

After fleeing Starkiller Base, light side heroes, Rey and Finn are confronted by dark side enforcer Kylo Ren. After Han’s conflict with his son, Kylo Ren, Rey steps forward and tries to shoot Ren who uses his Force powers to launch her into a tree. An angry Finn powers up Luke Skywalker’s Lightsaber and attempts to defend Rey only to be incapacitated by Kylo Ren, left lying unconscious in the snow.

Kylo Ren is shocked when Skywalker’s Lightsaber flies by him into Rey’s hand. He senses her connection to the Force but is confident that he is the more powerful one. When he compliments her and offers to train her these words awaken Rey’s own power.

With Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker coming to theatres on December 20, 2019, the timing of this painting couldn’t be better. Fans will finally see how this ongoing battle between Ren and Rey concludes.
