New Holiday Treat: Tree on Cherry Hill Cake at Disney World

in Food, Walt Disney World

Calling all foodies! If you are anxiously waiting for all the new Disney holiday desserts and treats to pop up at Walt Disney World, you’re in luck.

One of the first holiday desserts that showed up at Walt Disney World this holiday season is this adorable (and edible) Christmas tree.

The Tree on Cherry Hill is one of the most unique holiday treats we have seen at Walt Disney World. It is calling Disney guests just based off of its intriguing look and beautiful design.

This Disney holiday dessert shows off a Christmas tree, which sits on top of the dome, and is made of a waffle cone covered in green icing and covered in edible glitter to represent the ornaments, and then topped with a tiny star.

The dome cake itself is a cherry flavored cake (which we should have guessed based off of the name). The texture of the dome cake closely resembles that of a cheesecake but the snow on the outside doesn’t have much flavor. The cherry is the real star here.

The Tree on Cherry Hill can be found in the End Zone Food Court at Disney’s All Star Sports Resort and costs $5.99.  Disney guests can use a Disney Dining Plan Snack Credit on this holiday treat.

Of course, Disney guests everywhere look forward to specialty holiday treats, just like this Tree on Cherry Hill, but that’s not the only thing special during the holiday season at Disney Parks. Disney guests can also get a special ticket to attend Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, which transforms Magic Kingdom into a beautiful winter wonderland year after year. During the party, guests will also witness a special fireworks display and a holiday-themed parade.

You can also enjoy a sugar cookie and a cup of hot chocolate as throughout Magic Kingdom there are special holiday treats just for the party.

Disney guests can continue to celebrate the holiday season by heading over to Hollywood Studios for Disney’s Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! And returning this year is the Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! dessert party, which begins November 8 and will take place every night through January 5, 2020.
