“When he sets his sights on something of value, it’s very hard for him to accept my advice to ‘be patient.’” Unfortunately, I don’t see this potential new CEO being impatient about making sure employees needs and wishes are met – that THEY have value. Similarly, I don’t see him being impatient that guests feel like they’re more than just commodities instead of beloved guests as in years past.

Whoever it is needs to put time in at the park level also. Get out there and work with the people…cast members and guests a like. See what it’s like day in and day out, possibly in an undercover boss situation if that’s what it take. Get out and take care of what helped make the company what it is today.

I just hope he’s able to make the company a lot of money. Creativity and innovation are nice, but please, can we finally get a CEO who cares about the profits of the stock holders?

And if this new guy succeeds, he should absolutely be paid handsomely for his work. I mean, seriously, does anybody not realize that CEOs have to eat too?
