Last week, we shared the news of a special little boy who gave up his money for Walt Disney World in order to help evacuees from Hurricane Dorian by giving up the money he was saving for his trip to purchase hot dogs, chips and water for people who left their homes in preparation for the major storm. Now, it seems this boy got the ultimate surprise for his good deed, a trip to Walt Disney World!
Jermaine Bell, the thoughtful six-year-old from Jacksonville, FL spent more than a year saving money for an upcoming birthday trip to the Walt Disney World Resort. However, when news broke that Hurricane Dorian was headed to the East Coast and many FL residents were being told to leave their homes in search of shelter, Bell decided to empty his piggy bank (his Walt Disney World trip fund) and serve these residents snacks for their evacuation free of charge.
Since the news of Bell’s good deed broke, millions of people around the country have been inspired by the young boy’s incredible act of selflessness, including the big mouse himself. In reward of Bell’s good deed, this past Sunday, Sept. 8, when Jermaine was celebrating his seventh birthday, Mickey Mouse and a group of Walt Disney World cast members made a surprise visit to tell Jermaine that he and his family are going to get to go on a Walt Disney World trip after all!

Disney is reportedly treating the family to a VIP getaway at the Orlando resort later this month and will continue to be sharing on Bell’s special surprise as the company offers the kind boy and his family the trip of a lifetime.
