Favorite Snacks from Around the “World” at Walt Disney World

Whether I am immersed in my favorite Disney theme park attraction or just enjoying the sweet smells of the Main Street Confectionary on Main Street, U.S.A., eventually, like Winnie the Pooh, I get a “rumbly in my tumbly.” Walt Disney World Resort is not lacking in entertainment and food. While there are many Walt Disney World snacks to choose from, here are my favorite treats from around the “World”.

Magic Kingdom Park

Hot or cold, rain or shine, Magic Kingdom Park has as many delicious food experiences as it does attractions. While seasonal snack offerings are thrilling, nothing beats a DOLE Whip and a churro. And, these classics allow the DOLE Whip to cool you down on a hot day! With pineapple, tangy goodness, the sweet mix of sugar and cinnamon churros wrapped in wax paper from the many snack carts gets you ready for another six hours of Disney fun.

The international food adventure around Epcot’s World Showcase may require stretchy pants and with lots of options, I think the west side holds my favorite snacks. Make sure to stop by France Pavilion’s L’Artisan des Glaces for a seasonal Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich. The two soft macarons are separated by rich ice cream wrapped in a faux French newspaper that should be eaten while sitting at a table outside the shop with a view of the Eiffel Tower. The summertime strawberry macaron sandwich is “magnifique!”

Before an amazing adventure of playing BIG in Andy’s backyard, I swing by the Tune-In Lounge (located inside the 50’s Prime Time Cafe). Here I enjoy a 50s-style experience as I pull up to the bar. My order: Peanut Butter & Jelly Milk Shake. This shake is the most sensational mix of salty peanut butter and sweet strawberries. The best way to enjoy this snack is through a wide straw.

Deep in the Valley of Mo’ara is Satu’li Canteen and the home of the Blueberry Cream Cheese Mousse. This delicious treat is as beautiful to look at as it is to eat. I like to sit down to eat this blueberry cream cheese base topped with a dome of passion fruit curd. It is so delicious. “SIVAKO!” rise to the challenge and enjoy the Na’vi-inspired treat.

While these treats are “practically perfect in every way” for me, Mickey is constantly churning out new delights with his Imagineers which is another reason to plan my next Disney trip.

So, which of these Walt Disney World snacks will you be adding to your list to enjoy on your next trip to the park?
