As weather worldwide becomes more severe, this will become more and more commonplace. After awhile, the news probably won’t even report it anymore. Still, Disney knows when it’s safe to be open and when they have to close… I just hope it doesn’t eat a bunch of Universal HHN (again) this year…
Hhn isnt the only halloween event that could be effect! Also all the construction happening everywhere even outside of parks… safety is always going to be # no matter where! It reminds me alot of watching irma i am glad i am not in fl anymore but that doesnt mean i am not praying for you all!
That’s what I’m wondering. We have tickets for the MNSSHP on Monday night. I know some people have gotten phone calls from Disney offering reschedules; but due to work we have no way of rescheduling. Anyone know if they offer refunds if a party has to be cancelled?
We were at Pop Century back during Irma. The cast members were fantastic the Pop resort even took in locals and first responders ,they were very accommodating. After the storms we saw some wind damage like trees and leaves but you didnt even realize a cat4 storm came through. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay on property again during a storm. Last year we were there during Florence but being the roads like 95 were gonna be flooded we left early cause we drove.
Marion call disney and express your concern i am sure they can help you esp w the hurricane and safety their 1st concern i am sure they will help you find a replacement date (if you can go to one) or refund!
Is it just me or does dorian remind you of katrina said to hit fl doesnt just skims it i remember going to the parks bc they opened and it hitting and unprepped nola now dorian is hitting an unprepped Bermuda and sc maybe va skimming us but was zupose to hit us!?
Its not just you i am thinking irma too i think jinx is in order bc we had same thought but always praying for best except the worst and its not over till its over said it about blizzards up north when i was there and say it here w hurricanes!!! I just hope if anything we all stay safe and secure and if any rain it scares the wasps outside my window ledge whom are growing a nest that scifi dine in would be proud of!
