Guests riding Dinosaur at Disney’s Animal Kingdom were in for a rare treat today as the ride had to be evacuated after breaking down.

While it’s safe to say that the average park guest might get a bit frustrated when a theme park attraction breaks down, getting the chance to see an attraction like Dinosaur with the lights on is an experience many Disney fans dream of!

Check out these incredible photos of the attraction with the lights on:

Opening originally as Countdown to Extinction back in 1998, the attraction later changed its name to Dinosaur to promote the Disney animated film of the same name. Despite rumours of the attraction closing continuing to float around, one of the best and most intense attractions at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is still going strong.

In addition to the attraction itself, loveable Dr Seeker has become a bit of a fan favourite character at the park as well, we haven’t met a single person that dislikes him!

Wait a second, this is definitely not our Dino…

For us, this rivals some of the other dark rides we have seen lit up in the past including Space Mountain and the Haunted Mansion.
