Blue Milk Star Wars Galaxy's Edge

We’re excited to share all of the details that are sure to making dining at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge the most immersive dining experience in the Walt Disney World Resort to date! While some of the food and beverage options at the Walt Disney World Resort’s version of Batuu will follow what Disneyland has been serving, there are a couple of notable differences we’ll be seeing here in Florida (notably alcoholic versions of select beverages…can you say “Blue Milk?!”).

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens August 29 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, but you don’t need to wait until the end of the month to dive in to all the food and beverage options that make this land unique:

Milk Stand

The milk stand opened to mixed reactions from fans in Disneyland, but its following definitely seems to have grown since Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opened on the west coast. Like its Disneyland counterpart, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios will also feature the Milk Stand, serving up those famous blue and green beverages with an added Florida-exclusive twist.

Guests can try either Blue Milk or Green Milk (both with plant-based coconut blended with rice milk) but at the Walt Disney World Resort both flavors can be ordered with alcohol! The Blue Milk Cooler offers a twist on the classic by mixing in some rum, and the Green Milk Cooler comes with added tequila. The Bubo Wumba Family Farms souvenir sipper is available for both the alcoholic and non-alcoholic versions as well.

Oga’s Cantina

Guests will soon be able to experience Oga’s Cantina, a classic hangout on Batuu for everyone from smugglers and bounty hunters to all of residents of Black Spire Outpost, and more. Oga’s Cantina will even feature tunes by DJ R-3X, a droid who certainly knows his way around a turntable.

Drink specialties the whole family can enjoy follow suit from Disneyland with ‘mocktails’ like the Blue Bantha (chilled blue milk topped off with vanilla butter sugar cookies) or the Hyperdrive (Punch It!) which is made with Mountain Berry Blast Powerade, white cranberry juice, black cherry purée, and Sprite. The Jabba Juice is perfect for something sweet and refreshing with its mix of Simply Orange, pineapple, kiwi, cantaloupe, and blueberry popping pearls.

Oga’s Cantina at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be featuring new specials for the 21+ crowd! Get your Bloody Mary fix during mornings on Batuu with the Bloody Rancor, a mix of vodka, chile liqueur, spicy Bloody Mary Mix, and a rancor bone cookie.

For lunch or dinner try the Outer Rim (silver tequila, açai liqueur, lime juice, pure cane sugar, black salt, and exotic fruit purée) or the Fuzzy Tauntaun (peach vodka, peach schnapps, orange juice with tangerine, pure cane sugar, and “buzz button tingling” foam).

Exclusive to Disney’s Hollywood Studios is the Rodian Ration, made with vodka, sour apple liqueur, Sprite, and green apple popping pearls. (The nonalcoholic version, Oga’s Obsession, uses Odwalla Lemonade and cotton candy flavors alongside blue popping pearls.)

What’s a visit to Oga’s Cantina without some light bites? Batuu Bits are the perfect bar snack, packing in the crisps and crunch that make any worthy trail mix a bar fly’s treat. And with a menu loaded with drinks that run on the sweeter side, you’ll no doubt be craving something more savory to snack on.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge certainly features some of Disney’s most immersive dining experiences. As its name suggests, Docking Bay 7 is a hangar bar on Batuu, that conveniently has a food freighter (belonging to Chef Strono “Cookie Tuggs” docked right on its roof!).

Docking Bay 7 also has it’s own set of ‘mocktails’ perfect for adults and younglings alike. Moof Juice is crafted with Simply Fruit Punch, Simply Orange, and two pineapple infusions (pineapple and chipotle-pineapple). Another Disney’s Hollywood Studios exclusive for guests 21 and over, the Takodana Quencher can also be found at Docking Bay 7 with Dragon Berry Rum, Blue Curaçao, Simply Orange, pineapple, and kiwi.

Guests can also taste their way around the galaxy with ingredients collected from numerous locales off of Batuu. Docking Bay 7 will be a go-to for guests looking for vegan options in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge with the Felucian Garden Spread, a fully plant-based “kefta” with herb hummus, tomato-cucumber relish, and pita). The Yobshrimp Noodle Salad will be a hit for hot days in the park with chilled shrimp, marinated noodles, and seasonal veggies.

Don’t forget about dessert! Docking Bay 7’s Batuu-bon is a sweet lover’s dream with chocolate cake topped with white chocolate mouse and coffee custard. And if chocolate isn’t your favorite, there is always the Oi-oi Puff (a raspberry cream puff filled with passion fruit mousse).

Ronto Roasters

Ronto Roasters is your new spot on Batuu for meals prepared by pitmaster droid 8D-JB, but before we get to the eats let’s dive into those drinks! Ronto Roasters’ non-alcoholic specialty, the Tattoine Sunset, comes with Gold Peak Unsweetened Tea, Odwalla Lemonade, melon, and blueberry. For an added kick (and for guests 21 and over) you may also try the Trandoshan Ale (spiced wheat ale) or the Coruscant Cooler made with Kentucky bourbon, cherry liqueur, fortified wine, cranberry, and lime juice.

Onto eats, Ronto Roasters is home to Ronto Wraps, the perfect grab-and-go eats for exploring Black Spire Outpost. Guests have the option to select from roasted pork, grilled sausage, peppercorn sauce, and slaw all wrapped in a pita, or they can pick up Nuna Turkey Jerky to snack on in a variety of flavors.
