Staying on-property at the Walt Disney World resort is always a magical experience, and depending on where you stay, each stay can be even more so. Well, according to some Disney Vacation Club enthusiasts and sources, the level of magic is about to go up for Disney’s Grand Villas.
At the start of 2018, Walt Disney World quietly released a new perk for guests staying in the Club-level rooms of their hotels: the option to purchase extra fastpasses during their stay. When the trial began, only three on-site accommodations offered this perk: Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge Villas, the bungalows at Disney’s Polynesian Village Villas and Bungalows, and the Cascade Cabins at Disney’s Copper Creek Villas and Cabins. Now, anybody staying at any of the Grand Villas on-property–even those DVC members booking with points–have an opportunity to purchase this new perk.
For $50 per person per day, guests will be able to book three extra FastPasses, which gives you the ability to book a total of 6 FastPasses at a time during the day. These three extra FastPasses can be booked up to 90 days in advance and can hold FastPasses to more than one park at the same time, unlike traditional FastPass+ reservations. You can also edit and rearrange the extra passes like the normal three on your My Disney Experience app, and you can also move them to a different day!
Remember that specific rules and guidelines are subject to change at any time. If you are looking to add this to your Walt Disney World vacation, you will have to first confirm your reservation for a Grand Villa, and then contact Disney Signature Services directly.
