I purchased a place in Davenport, FL due to the excessive parking fees charged by Disney to overnight guests, and I’m an annual passholder. I guess if they can continue to collect it, more power to them. Higher fees will only cut down on higher crowds, unless you want to pay the higher fees. Those of us who want to go will find a way.
I’m not to sure why it goes by which type of hotel you stay at does your car get detail or sit on different concrete? I small fee it there is security watching cars at all times not bad but with what you pay for rooms for night should be included. We have driven to Disney over 12 in our from Texas over the years and stayed at different prices hotels. Parking lots are never full. :-/
