The Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival is known for its eye-catching topiaries and fun and flowered merchandise, but what has to be the most enticing part of the celebration is its many delicious food offerings! Here is a look at some of the many delectable dishes coming to the 2019 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival.
Starting with a dish that’s fresh from the garden, this one can be found at Flavor Full Kitchen. From the Garden: Roasted Beets, Cashew Cheese and Micro Herbs with Lemon-oil.
This delectable dish is made to appear so fresh, it looks like you’re eating right out of the garden. The “rocks,” which add to the appearance of a garden, are made from crispy quinoa and the “soil” in the back is made from onion ash. Besides the dish’s floral appearance, it is definitely one of the lighter and flowery options from the festival.
This next dish continues in theme with lighter fare as it’s mostly a collection of only the freshest vegetables. Fried green tomatoes with blue crab-fennel salad, Remoulade, and smoked paprika oil.
This dish can be found at the Arbor at The Gardeners Terrace, a new outdoor kitchen to the festival, which takes guests on a culinary journey through a choice of different delicacies.
This next dish is so delicious, it almost seems impossible! Farmhouse Meatball with Lentil Bread, Spinach, Marinated Vegetables, Creamy Herb Dressing.
This dish is presented by Trowel & Trellis, which is hosted by IMPOSSIBLE Foods! For those who are not familiar with IMPOSSIBLE, the brand offers completely meatless meats, which is what this meatball is made of. Additionally, the dish is 100% vegan.
For all those smokehouse lovers out there, you can check out the Shredded Beef Brisket with Smoked Potato, Chorizo Fondue, and Green Tomato Relish.
Available at THE SMOKEHOUSE: Barbecue and Brews, this delicious and savory dish goes perfectly with a craft beer! And, it’s sure to satisfy the taste buds of any true BBQ foodie.
A returning favorite to Bauernmarkt: Farmer’s Market is a German dish that takes a classic American breakfast food and transforms it into a delectable feast, the Potato Pancake with Caramelized Ham, Onions and Herb Sour Cream.
The outdoor kitchen will also offer another version of the Potato Pancakes with House-made Apple Sauce. Other offerings from the kitchen include Toasted Pretzel Bread topped with Black Forest Ham and Melted Gruyère Cheese and a Warm Cheese Strudel with Mixed Berries.
Found at The Citrus Blossom, a brand-new kitchen to this year’s Flower & Garden Festival, is the Tuna Tataki with Spicy Yuzu Glaze, Mango, Avocado and Pappadam Crisp.
In addition to this new dish, the kitchen also offers Lobster Tail with Meyer Lemon Emulsion and Grilled Lemon and Crispy Citrus Chicken with Orange Aïoli and Baby Greens.
In addition to all these delicious food offerings, the festival also offers an assortment of sweet beverages found throughout the world showcase.
A drink so delicious it keeps coming back is the Frozen Violet Dessert Lemonade. The drink features edible flowers, which are grown in the Land pavilion. The drink also offers merchandise themed after it at this year’s festival, which can be seen in our previous coverage.
For guests looking for non-alcoholic beverages, they can sip the Blood Orange Aqua Fresca, which can be found at Flavor Full Kitchen.
The Bloomin’ Blueberry Lemon and Ginger Tea, featuring Twinings of London with Tito’s Handmade Vodka, can be found at Trowel & Trellis. The drink also comes in a non-alcoholic version as well.
A cuter and sweeter beverage offering to the festival includes the Orange Bird Sipper Cup, which is filled with a non-alcoholic orange cream slushy. The cup can be found at the Citrus Blossom.
For fans of craft beer, be sure to look for the Hard Cider Flight, which will offer Original Sin Brewery Black Widow, Florida Beer Company Caribe Strawberry Rose, and 3 Daughters Brewing Key Lime Apple. The flight can be found at Arbor.
One sweet offering coming to the festival that offers a citrus punch is the Citrus Shortcake: Orange Chiffon Cake, Lemon Curd, Mandarins, Whipped Cream, Citrus Crumble from the Citrus Blossom.
If you’re looking for a fun sweet to enjoy on-the-go, then be sure to check out the Mickey Tart Peanut Butter Mousse with Strawberry Jam and Boba Pearls, found at Flavor Full Kitchen.
One last sweet treat from this year’s festival that can also be taken with you on-the-go and is full of brilliant bright colors is the Chocolate Pudding Terrarium with Avocado Cream, Matcha Crumb, Pomegranate and Baby Herbs. And yes, if you were wondering, the flowers in the dessert are edible!
