Hong Kong Disneyland welcomes spring with the limited-time Carnivale of Stars celebration, now through June 26.
Across the resort, guests can find more than 100 Disney character-themed eggs in the Disney Character Egg Hunt. New eggs this year include Ralph and Vanellope from “Ralph Breaks the Internet,” Bo Peep and Slinky Dog from “Toy Story,” Violet, Dash, and Jack-Jack from “The Incredibles,” and Marvel’s The Wasp and Captain Marvel.
At The Annex, guests can meet Ralph and Vanellope, who make their Hong Kong Disneyland debut. And on Main Street, U.S.A., Duffy’s friend Cookie joins the fun for the first time, wearing her new springtime outfit.
Over at the Castle Hub Stage, Disney characters in seasonal outfits join dancers for the all-new Disney Stars Springtime Celebration. In addition, the park’s hub area and Fantasy Gardens feature large sculptures recreating scenes from classic Disney movies, including “Winnie the Pooh,” “The Lion King,” “Moana,” and “Bambi.”
From April 19 – 28, the Easter Magicarnival offers a series of large-scale outdoor activities across the resort’s three hotels. Guests can take part in over 30 themed activities, including 10 brand-new ones. The festivities include Disney themed-bouncy castles, inflatable games, mini electric cars, an arts-and-crafts workshop, a new entertainment performance, and favorite Disney characters.
Of course, there’s also going to be special food for the occasion! Guests can find more than 50 seasonal delicacies throughout the resort, including a Chocolate Potato Chips Sundae and limited-edition Casey Jr. Popcorn Bucket and Dumbo Sipper at outdoor vending carts.
Royal Banquet Hall offers a character buffet for the first time. Guests can meet Donald Duck in his new royal outfit while enjoying a dinner buffet with seasonal food from around the world. There’s also a Duffy and Friends Afternoon Tea Set at the Main Street Corner Cafe.
The World of Color Restaurant in Disney Explorers Lodge has a Spring Colorful Brunch or a Dessert Moment – Duffy & Friends Tea Party. “The new brunch menu features refreshing choices such as plant-based chicken rice paper rolls and pan-fried Omnipork hash brown with saffron vegenaise. The afternoon set includes camera-ready Duffy & Friends desserts,” says Disney. Over at Disney’s Hollywood Hotel, the dinner buffet at Chef Mickey includes an Ant-Man and The Wasp-themed DIY chocolate egg-making session.
Finally, guests can choose from more than 80 seasonal merchandise items, including plush toys, apparel, accessories, pins, and more. Collectors should keep an eye out for the new Eggstravaganza egg-shaped toy, starring Mickey and friends, along with characters from “Toy Story.” Plus, fans of Duffy and Friends won’t want to miss the all-new tea party spring-themed collections, available while supplies last.
In addition to all this springtime fun, the new Ant-Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle! attraction opens on March 31.
