Next summer, Disney Cruise Line is celebrating Mickey’s 90th with Mickey & Minnie’s Surprise Party at Sea.
An afternoon deck party happening exclusively on select Disney Fantasy 7-night sailings, the event features Mickey, Minnie, and friends dressed in their festive best. During the party, you can dance the day away to “It’s a Good Time,” a special song created for Mickey’s 90th that can also be heard during the new “Move It! Shake It! MousekeDance It! Street Party” at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom Park.
Of course, no birthday party is complete without celebratory food and drinks. Cool off with a non-alcoholic specialty drink served in a commemorative Mickey-shaped cup, and snack on Mickey ice cream bars and Mickey pretzels. Other limited-time onboard offerings will also be available to celebrate Mickey and Minnie, including:
- In-stateroom surprises (invitation, party hats, turn-down chocolates)
- Animated shorts playing on deck
- Themed treats
In addition, Mickey & Minnie’s Surprise Party at Sea commemorative merchandise will be available for purchase onboard. You can take home t-shirts, a souvenir cup, and stateroom magnets to remember Mickey & Minnie’s special festivities aboard Disney Fantasy.
Back on land, Disney Parks are also celebrating Mickey’s 90th in 2019. At Walt Disney World, Mickey & Minnie’s Surprise Celebration kicks off on January 18 at Magic Kingdom Park. Also beginning in January 2019, Disneyland Resort hosts Get Your Ears On — A Mickey & Minnie Celebration. With limited-time entertainment, special food and beverage offerings, and commemorative merchandise, there are plenty of fun ways to celebrate Disney’s famous duo at the parks or at sea.
