WATCH: HOLIDAY TREATS AT DISNEYLAND RESORT:

1. Peppermint Churro Sundae

This wouldn’t be a top Disneyland foods list without mentioning something churro-related, and we’ve found the best of the best. The Golden Horseshoe in Frontierland in Disneyland has been offering some of the best desserts for the past year, and this sundae is no different. Layers of peppermind ice cream, cajeta-filled churros, brownies, chocolate, and whipped cream make this dessert our absolute favorite this season.

2. Santa Hat Macaron

Going along with the peppermint theme, this Santa Hat Macaron blows every other cookie out of the water. This holiday-themed macaron is layered with chocolate, marshmallow cream, and crushed candy canes, combining classic Christmas flavors in a shareable and decadent treat. This cookie is sold at Jolly Holiday Bakery Café at the end of Main Street U.S.A. in Disneyland.

3. Frozen Abuelita Hot Chocolate

Abuelita hot chocolate is our favorite sweet drink every holiday season. But frozen Abuelita hot chocolate? That’s even better. We love this Disneyland take on a classic holiday treat. Topped with whipped cream, chocolate sauce, and candy cane crumbles, this drink should be at the top of your list of must-try beverages at Disneyland this season. Pick this snack up at Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland in Disneyland.

4. Gingerbread Funnel Cake Fries

Award Wieners in Disney’s California Adventure has been pioneering funnel cake fries for a while now, and these gingerbread-flavored fries are the best yet. Back again for the 2018 holiday season, the gingerbread funnel cake fries are warm and delicious, topped with gingerbread crumbles, and smothered with whipped cream. We suggest picking these up in the evening and heading over to Paradise Bay to catch a live music performance after sunset.

5. Holiday Linzer Cookie

These cookies remind us of the ones our grandma used to make, and we can’t wait to come back for more. This sugar cookie is layered, filled with strawberry jam, and topped with festive icing and sprinkles. It looks great in photos, and it tastes even better. Find this at Market House on Main Street U.S.A. in Disneyland.

6. Gingerbread Cookie Ice Cream Sandwich

This time change means it gets darker early on in the day, so does that mean dessert starts at 6pm?! Dessert time or not, I will gladly have this any time of day— it’s just so good! — If you love gingerbread, make sure to get this Gingerbread Cookie Ice Cream Sandwich from Schmoozies in @californiaadventurepark It has a scoop of brown sugar cinnamon ice cream and rolled with crushed gingersnap cookies — It was love at first bite and sweet in all the right places. The spices were warm, the cookie was chewy, and the little chocolate gingerbread man inside was quite the surprise. We mentioned that we love gingerbread, and we meant it. This ice cream sandwich makes all of our Christmastime dreams come true with every bite. The sweet brown sugar cinnamon ice cream complements the gingerbread flavor so nicely, and this is the perfect treat for a warmer holiday afternoon in Anaheim. We can’t wait to grab this one on our next visit! Find it at Schmoozies in Hollywoodland in Disney California Adventure.

7. Cranberry Bread Pudding

We love everything about Pacific Wharf Café at Disney California Adventure, so we had to add this seasonal cranberry bread pudding to our list. Topped with whipped cream and layered with decadent flavors, this bread pudding is perfect for the person who has a sweet tooth but isn’t a big chocolate fan. This dessert takes us back to our family holiday get-togethers with the fruity flavor, and we want more with every bite.
