The TTPM 2018 Holiday Showcase took place on Friday, September 28, in New York City, and this season’s hottest holiday gifts included items inspired by Harry Potter, Disney, and Star Wars.
Each fall, TTPM (Toys, Tots, Pets, & More) reveals their list of Most Wanted Toys for the holiday season. It’s no surprise that this year’s list included the popular LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Great Hall set, which is sure to make a great gift for the Potterheads in your life. One particularly eye-catching item was the Kano Coding Kit, which allows users to build a wand that responds to their movements. This item retails for $99.99 and it’s available from Amazon here, as well as Target, Best Buy, Walmart, and Kano.me.
Jakks Pacific offered even more “Harry Potter” fun with several cool wands, in addition to merchandise inspired by Disney-Pixar’s “Incredibles 2.”
At the Mattel booth, a “Jurassic World”-inspired dinosaur dominated alongside another look at the Harry Potter dolls, which retail for $20.97 exclusively at Walmart.
JustPlay had plenty of gifts for the younger crowd, with items inspired by Mickey, Minnie, Muppet Babies, and The Grinch.
For your furry Disney fans
Last but not least, Sentiments had a few Disney-inspired gifts for your pets. There’s a Mickey Mouse-themed collection of beds to celebrate the beloved mouse’s 90th birthday, as well as a Zero dog bed in honor of the 25th anniversary of Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas.” Several other Jack Skellington-inspired items make adorable pet gifts as well.
In addition, two pastel beds were inspired by Mickey and Minnie Mouse. This collection includes matching ice cream-shaped toys, pictured inside the beds.
