Adventures by Disney revealed three new Short Escape vacations launching next year, offering quick adventures in Boston, London, and Vancouver.
You can book these Short Escapes as a stand-alone two- to three-night trip or as an add-on to other vacation itineraries. Every trip highlights the must-see attractions and hidden gems of each city and provides hands-on activities, special access, and the magic of a Disney vacation. Learn more about each of the new vacation offerings below.
London Short Escape
This three-day, two-night visit to London includes a private viewing of the Crown Jewels led by the Tower of London’s Jewel House Warden; a privately guided tour of Westminster Abbey; a private, high-speed ride on a rigid-inflatable boat along the River Thames; and a stop to see the traditional changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace.
This trip can be booked as a stand-alone vacation or as a pre-cruise add-on to Disney Cruise Line sailings out of Dover, England. The London Short Escape is available on select dates in July, August and September 2019. For more information, click here.
Boston Short Escape
Explore American history with the new four-day, three-night trip to Boston, which features privately guided tours of Old North Church and the Freedom Trail and an after-hours visit to the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum that ends with a private dinner “steeped in the city’s storied roots.”
Other activities include biking on a private adventure, rowing on the Charles River, and visiting Harvard Yard. And of course, it wouldn’t be a trip to New England without a clambake. Enjoy seafood, chicken, corn-on-the-cob, and more during a private buffet on Thompson Island.
The Boston Short Escape is available on select dates from May through October 2019. For more information, click here.
Vancouver Short Escape
Enjoy the great outdoors of Vancouver during this three-day, two-night vacation, which includes ziplining and gondola rides at Grouse Mountain; a morning bike ride through Stanley Park; and a privately guided tour at Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. Sample the city’s culinary scene during a walking tour of Granville Island’s Public Market, and try beer and wine flights in a local tasting room while young guests take part in a scavenger hunt expedition.
Another treat for nature lovers: the trip includes early morning access to the grizzly bear habitat at Grouse Mountain, where you’ll see bears up-close and learn from a local bear expert. The excursion also includes a private breakfast with can’t-miss views. “Other highlights include photo-worthy encounters with lively lumberjacks, birds of prey and towering totem poles,” says Disney.
This trip can be booked as a stand-alone vacation or as an add-on to a Disney Cruise Line Alaska sailing. The Vancouver Short Escape is available on select dates from May through September 2019. For more information, click here.
