Special artist events coming to Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort

Disneyland Resort provides guests with a lot of picturesque views and sketch-worthy sights and this Summer it will offer up some fantastic Disney-themed artwork from a series of very talented artists.

The Downtown Disney District will host these artist for the remainder of July and the month of August and allow guests to check out and purchase some of their latest work.

The impressive schedule of artist events at the Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort this Summer is as follows:

July 21 – The eclectic WonderGround Gallery is pleased to welcome Gabby Zapata, Jeff Granito, Jerrod Maruyama, Nidhi Chanani and Sydney Hanson for an Artist Showcase from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Jeff Granito, Nidhi Chanani and Sydney Hanson will be debuting new pieces, while Gabby Zapata and Jerrod Maruyama will be on hand to sign their recent work.

July 28 and 29 – Meet the featured Artisan for the Month of July, Nidhi Chanani, at WonderGround Gallery from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

August 18 – Celebrate with WonderGround Gallery as they welcome Brian Crosby, John Coulter and Bill Robinson for an Artist Showcase from 2 – 4 p.m. Come see their new releases and say hello!

August 4, 5, 25, and 26 – The featured Artisan for the Month of August, Jeannine Schafer, will be at WonderGround Gallery from 2 – 5 p.m.

On top of all that great artistic excitement, guests will also be able to see July Artist in Residence Steph Laberis and the August Artist in Residence Martin Hsu, who will be holding live art demonstrations at WonderGround Gallery throughout their respective months.

The WonderGround Gallery at Downtown Disney is a contemporary art space that showcases unusual art collections and emerging local artists. It is located between Disney Home and Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen Express.
