T. rex roars near Owen Grady and a glass containment pod as a volcano erupts in the background, recreating the heart-pounding adventure of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Universal’s 2018 blockbuster that set thrilling new standards for movie-themed attractions.

CityWalk at Universal Studios Hollywood is Los Angeles’ ultimate Dino-destination for the upcoming theatrical release of “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.”

The sequel to 2015’s “Jurassic World” (and fourth sequel to Steven Spielberg’s original 1993 “Jurassic Park”) will be playing for advanced screenings in six Universal Cinema theaters and in IMAX this Thursday, allowing Jurassic fans to experience all the action just a little bit early.

On top of that, guests will also get to pose for a once-in-a-lifetime photo op with a 13-foot tall, 36-foot wide Tyrannosaurus Rex model. This towering T-Rex weighs in at three tons and dominates the CityWalk shopping district adjacent to Universal Cinema.

The iconic T. rex lets out a mighty roar inside the Jurassic Park exhibit as the “When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth” banner dramatically drops, capturing the electrifying excitement of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom premiere nights at Universal CityWalk Hollywood.

Several original movie props from “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” will also be on display, including the iconic Gyrosphere. The Tyrannosaurus Rex and the movie props will be on display at Universal CityWalk through Sunday, June 24.

Authentic costumes worn by the stars of the film, Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, will also be on display exclusively in Universal Cinema through July 1.

After the movie, guests can keep the prehistoric party going by heading over to Voodoo Doughnut for an all-new Raptor claw-inspired doughnut, available through July 7.

And finally, guests can of course head into the park to experience “Jurassic Park: The Ride” before it goes extinct on September 3. Universal Studios Hollywood will be closing this classic attraction to make room for a newly-overhauled “Jurassic World”-themed attraction coming in 2019.

The iconic Jurassic World gate stands amidst lush greenery, with “Life finds a way in 2019” displayed below—inviting fans to celebrate early screenings of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom at Universal CityWalk Hollywood.

While in the park, be sure to head over to the Raptor Encounter as well to visit another star of the film – Blue, the Velociraptor.
