Partygoers revel in a shower of confetti on a vibrant, pink-themed stage at Universal CityWalk, surrounded by oversized Voodoo Doughnut props and lively decor that embody the fun-filled energy of Orlando’s iconic entertainment district.

Voodoo Doughnut officially opened at Universal Studios Orlando CityWalk and the celebration included delicious doughnuts and a massive explosion of confetti.

The first Voodoo Doughnut on the East Coast is now officially open! Yesterday the shop had its official dedication with co-founders Kenneth “Cat Daddy” Pogson and Tres Shannon, who led the celebration. They introduced the charismatic brand icon, the Baron of Voodoo Doughnut, who made an in-person appearance for the first time.

Yesterday’s opening marked the company’s eighth location and first on the East Coast. Voodoo Doughnut first began its partnership with Universal Parks & Resorts when they opened another location at Universal Studios Hollywood a little over a year ago.

For those who have never experienced this wild doughnut shop, some of their unique offerings include the savory yet sweet Bacon Maple Bar; Grape Ape, the doughnut with grape dust and lavender sprinkles; and the iconic Voodoo Doll doughnut, which is filled with raspberry jelly and topped with chocolate frosting and a pretzel stake.

In total, the shop offers more than 50 types of delightfully weird and sinfully delicious doughnuts. Of those, 13 are vegan offerings.
