Disney Channel announced a third season renewal for “Tangled: The Series” ahead of its Season 2 premiere next month. In addition, the show is getting a new name: Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure.

The animated series stars Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi, who reprise their roles as Rapunzel and Eugene (aka Flynn Rider). The series also stars Eden Espinosa as Rapunzel’s best friend, Cassandra; James Monroe-Iglehart as Eugene’s best friend, Lance; and Jeremy Jordan as Varian. The show features music by Alan Menken and lyricist Glenn Slater.

The second season features several notable guest voices, including Carol Kane as the mystical traveler Madame Canardist; Yvonne Strahovski (Levi’s co-star on “Chuck”) as Eugene’s former love interest Stalyan; Timothy Dalton (James Bond) as inventor and adventurer Demanitus; and Kathy Najimy (“Hocus Pocus”) as a strange resident of the magical forest.

On Monday, June 11, new Tangled-themed products, including back-to-school items, arrive at Disney Stores.

The series returns with its new title, Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure, on Sunday, June 24 at 8:00 AM on Disney Channel, the DisneyNOW app, and Disney Channel VOD.
