Pixar Play Zone

Pixar Play Zone opens at Disney’s Contemporary Resort with immersive Pixar-themed fun, including the opportunity to hang out with Woody, Jessie, and many other Pixar friends.

Disney’s Contemporary Resort is one of Walt Disney World’s oldest and premier resorts. It is also now where parents of young ones can take their kids to experience a night of Pixar-themed fun!

The Pixar Play Zone is the Contemporary’s newest addition for kids aged 4-12, where they can be the star with this adventure-packed experience that features interactive fun, arcade games, and dinner.

This new experience is a pilot program that takes place nightly from 6 PM – 10:30 PM and transports guests to a world full of excitement and adventure with everyone’s favorite characters from Disney•Pixar animated films “Toy Story” and “The Incredibles.”

Pixar Play Zone’s immersive fun comes from different themed programs that take place throughout the night. Space Ranger Training is where kids learn what it takes to become a Jr. Space Ranger of Star Command, including how to master the call of the Space Ranger, “To infinity and beyond!”

Then, Woody and Jessie show kids the ropes of the Wild West during Woody’s Roundup, which features a sing-a-long and fun interactions with the film’s characters.

Radiator Springs Racetrack is where young ones can build their own race cars and send them down a soapbox derby racetrack in the Piston Cup Derby races.

After all these fun events the night builds to an incredible ending: an Incredibles Super Dance Party where kids learn super cool moves with Mr. and Mrs. Incredible.

Doors open for registration at 5 PM nightly for guests of the resort, and to anyone not staying on the property but also looking to give their child a night of Pixar-themed fun.

Dining offerings for kids include a choice of one appetizer: Chopped Salad or Vegetables Dippers and a Mini Flatbread Pizza. This also includes a dessert, drink and a snack. Similar to dining at any other Disney dining experience, substitutes are available for children with food allergies and dietary restrictions upon request.

The Pixar Play Zone experience costs $65 plus tax per child. Availability is limited and reservations are strongly recommended.

You can make a reservation by calling 407-824-KIDS (5437). For more information on the experience, be sure to visit the official website.
