As the new Pixar Pier area continues to take shape in the location of the former Paradise Pier at Disneyland Resort‘s Disney California Adventure theme park, new details about some of the smaller rides and attractions are finally being officially released.

During the Pixar in the Parks media preview over the weekend at Walt Disney Imagineering in Glendale, Imagineer Jeffrey Shaver-Moskowitz announced the rebranded name and theme of the newly-overhauled King Triton’s Carousel of the Sea: Jessie’s Critter Carousel, inspired by Jessie’s wilderness friends featured in the “Woody’s Roundup” television show from “Toy Story 2.”

Jessie the Yodeling Cowgirl invites guests to saddle up on one of her adorable critters for a rootin’ tootin’ spin. Jessie’s Critter Carousel will be located in the neighborhood inspired by Disney•Pixar’s “Toy Story.”

A spinning zoetrope featuring vibrant animal cutouts twirls atop a circular base with white rods, adding whimsical charm to Pixar Fest at Disneyland Resort. This delightful collectible is perfect for Disney enthusiasts and collectors seeking standout Pixar merchandise.

Pixar Pier opens Saturday, June 23rd at Disney California Adventure theme park in Anaheim, California.
