  1. Ricky,

Best of luck to you in your newest endeavor. I have appreciated ITM for many years and I was so happy when I stumbled on upon it during a Disney google binge 🙂 Thank you for everything and I am looking forward to the continuing coverage ITM will bring!

  2. Cian

Ricky you are probably the person responsible for my complete Disney parks obsession and for that I thank you.

  3. Chris

Thank you for everything, Ricky! The podcast renewed my fandom and was my first entry into the online community. It is still, in my opinion, the best podcast there is/was. Best of luck on your new adventures. I am certain they will be as of great a quality and strong an impact as everything up until now.

  4. I’m not going to admit the number of hours that I’ve listened to you via podcasts and video…but needless to say that you’re one of the original influencers within the Disney Parks and for that…I thank you wholeheartedly! I’ve followed your career up to this point, so there’s no reason why that will stop:) Thanks for everything!

  5. Kathy

Good luck with your new adventures, Ricky, and thanks so much for all the time and effort you put into what I still consider to be the best Disney parks podcast out there.

  6. I listened to ITM since the beginning and it was always my escape to Disney when I couldn’t be there. There’s never been a podcast like it and I admit I miss it. I even check every once in awhile to see if it came back and I missed it. We will be at WDW and Universal Orlando this June for a week and if possible would love to possibly check out Pseudonym Productions. Good luck in all your future endeavors and “Hurry Back…”

  7. Oscar

Then Who’s going to be in charge of Inside the Magic right now?

  8. TimP

Your new short haircut looks better than your previous long hair. Less emo, more corporate. Shame that you dislike the corporate life. They have more money. So you missed out on cutting edge stuff and some great potential mentors. Anyways, it still worked out. Good luck.

Your podcast was the highlight of my week for many years. It was so comforting when I was traveling or going through a rough time. I had always hoped to run into you while visiting one of the parks (which, as a Seattle resident, doesn’t happen particularly often). The first marathon I ever trained for was the Disney World marathon, and I saved your podcasts up to get myself through the gruelling, multi-hour training runs. As I was nearing the last half mile of a particularly challenging 20 mile run and listening to some ITM episodes, I was spent and didn’t have anything left in me. I couldn’t believe I was going to run 19.5 miles and then limp the rest of the way home. But then you announced that it was the anniversary of Tale Spin, and played the theme song to the show. I was probably delirious with exhaustion, but I started laughing and and singing along. It didn’t hurt to run anymore, and I ran the rest of the way home! Thank you for all the news, stories, and ups and downs (like that time MK lost your FP to meet Anna and Elsa, omfg). It was so blatant that you did what you loved, especially when covering Halloween events. Best wishes!!

  10. Josh

Thank you for all your hard work and it’s awesome things have worked out for you. It was fun following you and thanks for helping us keep up to date on all the fun in Disney, Universal plus so many more cool stuff out there I would have never known about. I loved the podcast and the website and your new job looks so cool. It makes me wish I lived in Florida so I could check out one of the productions!

    Hi Ricky,
I just want to thank you for all you have done with Inside The Magic, it’s been my way of keeping up with all the theme parks and news they provide…I loved listening to your podcast as I was going through school, and on vacations. I haven’t been to Disney World in quite some time but reading your articles and especially watching your YouTube videos really gives me the sense of being there. I know when Halloween is coming around Ricky is sure to be there covering it all. Again thanks for all you’ve done for the Disney community and I am glad this site and content isn’t going anywhere! Good Luck on your future endeavors and I know you will succeed!

  12. Christoph

    Ricky, this is amazing 😉

  13. Sorry to see you go Ricky but glad your happy and know where your going. Will the archives of ITM still be up to revisit?

  14. Wally

Thanks for bringing the magic to the internet for all of us. I became a Disney nut because of your wonderful podcasts years ago. You and Paul did great work sharing your love of the Disney experience week after week.
I wish you great success in your future tasks, and appreciate your spirit to evolve in the coming years.
    Thanks again,

  15. Chris

Best of luck in every thing you do Ricky. I remember listening to your podcast the week it was first released and it opened me up to a world I could only imagine. Through your podcast I’ve met friends the world wide. In everything you do the best of the wishes

This is actually my first comment here I think? Thank you for creating this very in depth and fun company. I came across this site by accident. I was doing research on Disney and came across one of your articles. I ended up coming back awhile later and been here every since. I remember reading about pseudonym awhile back and was more interested in being part of the team rather than a guests. (That’s my style). I arrived after the podcast I believe so I was never exposed to those. Instead I was drawn to the sites many historical articles on various theme parks or rides. As well as any history behind some of the many places we know and love. I will say this. You are why I know more about the parks than anyone else. Your small passion created by far the best theme park industry site on the web. I recommend your site to every one who wants to know anything about theme parks and now any form of entertainment. In fact I have more of a interest in working for you than Disney now. (Really!!) I hope god blesses you in your future endevours and who knows? Maybe you’ll be one of the big designers that you also now admire. ❤️❤️ Much love.

  17. Pepe

    This is amazing.
Thank you for creating such an amazing blog/website/podcast. I truly wish you the best of lucks.
    Keep moving forward!

  18. Reid

Good luck on the new endeavors.

  19. Susan S.

Good luck in your new venture…I can’t wait to see more “first person” gaming. Thanks for your years of ITM’s unique blend of news and entertainment. And also thanks for your Halloween coverage beyond Disney and Universal. Hope to see you at the parks, at a Haunt or at your new production!

  20. Mike

Thank you, Ricky, for posting this. I was a longtime fan and listener to Inside the Magic, but not so much a user of the website, so when the podcast ended so relatively abruptly a few years ago it was almost as though you had disappeared off the face of the earth and I was wondering for a long time just what happened. This post finally brings closure so than you for that!

I actually didn’t discover podcasts, let alone yours, until you were almost halfway into your run and at that time I actually went back and listened to all of the episodes from the very first show to get caught up! Yours was one of the BEST Disney podcasts – right up there with WDW Radio and All About The Mouse and your sound/production/background quality was always excellent.

Good luck in your new endeavors and thank you for all the enjoyment you brought to me as I listened to your show over so many years.
