Today (February 22) is National Margarita Day and the Disney Parks have all the right ingredients to make some very tasty drinks for you to celebrate this unique holiday.
At Walt Disney World, perhaps the most obvious location to pick up a delicious margarita is the Mexico Pavilion in Epcot. Stop by La Cava del Tequila or Choza de Margarita for a specialty beverage like the Guava Pink Peppercorn Margarita, which features Zignum Reposado, guava nectar, grapefruit liqueur, lime juice, Peychaud’s Bitters and pink peppercorns.
You can also enjoy some authentic Mexican cuisine to complete the experience.
Not too far from Epcot, you can also stop by BoardWalk Joe’s Marvelous Margaritas at Disney’s BoardWalk. Here you’ll find drinks like the Marvelous Watermelon Margarita, with Patrón Silver Tequila, watermelon, fresh lime juice and sweet-and-sour.
There is no shortage of bars and restaurants at Disney Springs, but Dockside Margaritas is the place to be for this holiday. Stop by and enjoy the Sunset Margarita, with Don Julio Resposado Tequila, Cointreau, fresh lime juice, sweet-and-sour and orange juice.
With Rose Gold being the hot ticket that it is, you can head over to the Barefoot Pool Bar at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort for a Rose Gold Margarita. This special drink consists of Lunazul Reposado Tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, sour mix, grenadine and flavors of mango, guava and ginger as well as a gold sugar rim.
For an even more unique margarita, visit Pongu Pongu at Pandora – The World of Avatar for the Mo’ara Margarita, which consists of strawberry and blood orange flavors and is topped with strawberry boba balls and a glowing Unadelta Seed.
Over at Disneyland Resort, you can head to Rita’s Baja Blenders at the Pacific Wharf section of Disney California Adventure for a strawberry or lemon-lime margarita.
You can also head to the Downtown Disney District where the Taqueria at Tortilla Jo’s is serving margaritas, Mexican beers, tacos, nachos and more.
