Marvel’s “Black Panther” is set to be the studio’s next big hit, but the title character’s story has already begun.

In a new featurette, “Black Panther” star Chadwick Boseman discusses his character’s journey to the throne of Wakanda, starting with losing his father in the events of “Captain America: Civil War.”

Hype for “Black Panther” is certainly building up. Yesterday, we learned that the film had broken Marvel’s record for tickets sold within the first 24 hours of pre-sale, passing the mark set by “Captain America: Civil War.”

You can watch the next step of T’Challa’s journey as the king of Wakanda when “Black Panther” hits theaters on February 16.
